Emma Watson grew up in front of cameras, while I grew up watching her. Over time the distance between her image and my own reflection seemed to narrow. The way I was looked at had changed. I had become visible, too.
„On my 18th birthday, I came out of my 18th birthday party, and photographers lay down on the pavement and took photos up my skirt, which were then published on the front of the English tabloid. If they‘d published the photographs 24h earlier, they would have been illegal.“ (E.W., 2016)
